Supported by four subteams—Awareness, Training and Development, Research, and Public Relations—PSIG fosters understanding, guides students toward psychiatry careers, facilitates research, and connects with its audience through social media and events. Committed to its mission, PSIG aims to inspire and engage its members while advancing its advocacy goals.

The Surgery Interest Group (SIG) at Alfaisal University, in partnership with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, is a student-led initiative offering educational, hands-on, and research opportunities for students interested in surgery. Guided by a global network of surgeons, SIG provides mentorship, skill-building workshops, and research collaborations. It made history as the first SIG in the Middle East to be accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the ACS Saudi Chapter. In under two years, SIG has organized 45+ events, initiated 25+ research projects, and attracted over 7,000 participants, fostering the development of future surgical leaders.
